American Trades Contracting is a leading provider of specialized contracting services in the Southwest. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Fire Suppression System Installer to join our team. We have locations for this position in Goodyear, Chandler and Casa Grande.
Job Description: As a Fire Suppression System Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting Fire Suppression System. Must have VESDA installation experience. Your expertise will ensure the safety and compliance of our clients' facilities. These positions will require significant overtime for the next few months as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install fire suppression systems, including control panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices. You must understand how to read blueprints and effectively terminate and trim Fire Alarm Panels and Booster Panels.
- Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety codes.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national fire safety codes and standards. A basic understanding of fire alarm code is essential.
- Installation: Installing VESDA smoke detection systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG TEST!!
Skills:
- Knowledge of how to use a multimeter.
- Understanding of relays and how to properly terminate them.
