Now Hiring: LIHTC Recertification/ Occupancy Specialist
Location: Asbury Park, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Full-Time Opportunity
Career Strategies is currently seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Occupancy Specialist to support the daily operations of a dynamic apartment community in Asbury Park, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable Property Management company with room for growth and development!
What You’ll Do:
As the face of the leasing office, you’ll be a key point of contact for residents, vendors, and the management team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming calls and directing inquiries professionally
- Assisting residents with questions, service requests, and general office support
- Maintaining organized filing systems and administrative records
- Coordinating with vendors and contractors
- Supporting office staff with special projects and tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a positive, dependable team player who brings strong communication and problem-solving skills to the table. Ideal candidates will have:
✔️ Prior administrative or office experience (property management a plus!)
✔️ Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
✔️ Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
✔️ A proactive, can-do attitude and high level of organization
✔️ Sales or leasing experience is a bonus!
