Community Mainstreaming is a non-profit human service agency committed to providing services to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead meaningful productive lives within their community. We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team!
Locations: Nassau and Suffolk County
Hours: Full Time (Daytime Hours)
Monday - Friday, some weekends 10am-6pm
We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to assist in maintaining multiple residential group homes. Essential duties include, but not limited to:
- Interior and exterior painting
- Sheetrock and spackle
- Maintaining facility grounds
- Moving and assembling furniture
- Conducting safety checks
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Vehicle for reliable transportation
- Must own basic tools
- General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical
- At least one year in the maintenance field
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
