Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems. While experience with extrusion machines is preferred, we are open to training candidates who possess maintenance experience. This role is ideal for someone on the entry-level side who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive two-person maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarm responses and mechanical operations associated with the assigned site location.
• Oversee outside contractors for HVAC functions and other hired functions as needed.
• Communicate with management, building management, and machine operators to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain work orders using a CMMS system.
• Review all work and ensure performance in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, adhering to company standards.
• Have a moderate understanding of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Support spares and inventory program.
• Perform other duties as required.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and their operation.
• Knowledge of Critical Environments procedures and policies.
• Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical skills.
• Preventive maintenance experience.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Welding skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, large warehouse with extrusion machines. Although there is a slight plastic smell, the conditions are conducive to a productive workday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RENTON, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
