What’s a typical day as Cleaning Technician? You’ll be:
- Performing daily cleanroom cleaning activities such as vacuuming, sticky rolling, trash removal, and cleaning of gowning rooms, locker rooms, airlocks, floors, and support areas.
- Maintaining cleanroom entry and gowning areas by removing trash, cleaning floors, ensuring sticky mats are straight, undamaged, and properly positioned.
- Cleaning and wiping down high-touch surfaces including doors, frames, handles, benches, desks, chairs, tables, racks, bins, carts, crates, and cleanroom equipment surfaces.
- Supporting contamination-control efforts by vacuuming or sticky rolling floors and other hard-to-reach locations.
- Collecting and disposing of garbage according to site waste-handling expectations.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas by checking hoses, changing vacuum bags, and keeping mop closets organized.
- Performing scheduled weekly, monthly, and quarterly deep-clean tasks including mopping floors, walls, ceilings; cleaning airlocks, vents, windows, and supporting equipment cleaning rotations.
- Cleaning assigned equipment and machine areas including wiping surfaces, vacuuming, removing particulates, and cleaning around machines.
- Identifying and reporting visible particulates, damaged mats, clogged equipment, or areas needing maintenance support.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Are detail-oriented, consistent, and able to follow written cleaning schedules.
- Can work independently and maintain cleaning standards in controlled environments.
- Have previous cleaning or janitorial experience (preferred).
- Are able to handle physical tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and moving cleaning equipment.
- Are committed to safety, contamination control, and supporting facility operations.
