We’re currently seeking Special Event Officers to support an upcoming multi-day event. If you’re dependable, alert, and customer-focused, this is your chance to play a key role in keeping guests safe while earning premium pay.
What You'll Do:

Provide a visible and professional security presence at events

Manage access control, crowd control, and perimeter security

Monitor guest activity to identify and respond to suspicious behavior

Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures if necessary

Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment
What We're Looking For:

Strong communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and demeanor under pressure

Ability to stand for long periods and remain alert throughout shifts

Prior event or venue security experience is a plus but not required
Upcoming Event Shifts (August 2026): MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL DAYS

Thursday, August 20: Training meeting at Akron office - 11AM-12PM

Friday, August 21: 04:00 PM – 10PM
- Friday, August 21: 10:00 PM – Saturday, August 22, 8:00 AM

Saturday, August 22: 3:00 PM –10:00 PM
- Saturday, August 22: 10:00 PM – Sunday, August 23, 8:00 AM
💰 Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Position Details:
🕒 Shifts vary depending on event schedules
📅 Job Types: Part-time | Event-based | On-call
⏳ Shifts: Overnight | Weekends | Holidays
💰 Pay: $20.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
✅ Age 18+
✅ Clean background check & drug screening
✅ Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
✅ High school diploma or GED
✅ Ability to stand for extended periods
✅ Reliable transportation to job sites
