Job Responsibilities:
- Keeping production lines, extruders and wire processing machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on industrial wire processing, cutting, stripping, crimping and extrusion machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control system issues on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect wiring, control panels, motors and electrical component manuals
- Wire basic electrical components and ensure proper system functionality, reading schematics, blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs, track spare parts inventory and document work orders of safety inspections in line company policy.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED, technician certification, trade school or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical technology.
- Ability to read piping and wiring schematics
- Experience wiring basic electrical components
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills
- Analytical and problem‐solving abilities
- Ability to multi‐task in a fast‐paced environment
- Clear communication skills across all levels of the organization
- A sense of humor and team‐oriented mindset
