Maintenance Technician (4-Day Work Week & No Weekends!)

Location: Troy, Ohio

Compensation: Up to $37.00/hr base + $1.75/hr shift differential (Earn up to $38.75/hr)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt

Schedule: 4-Day Week (10-Hour Shifts), 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

What You'll Do

\n

As a core member of our maintenance team, you will keep our production lines moving efficiently by balancing advanced automation troubleshooting with mechanical repairs.

\n

  • Automation & Electrical: Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, electrical components, motors, and VFDs.
  • \n

  • Mechanical & Fluid Power: Repair and rebuild mechanical assets including bearings, gears, shafts, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
  • \n

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and root-cause analysis to prevent machine downtime and maximize asset lifecycles.
  • \n

  • Floor Collaboration: Partner with production leads to safely optimize machinery, handle minor fabrication/welding, and assist with legacy equipment maintenance.
  • \n

What We Are Looking For

\n

    \n
  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (paper converting or similar high-speed lines is a big plus).
  • \n

  • Technical Skillset: Proven ability to read schematics/blueprints and safely diagnose a combination of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • \n

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • \n

  • Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety initiatives (Lock-Out/Tag-Out, OSHA compliance).
  • \n

Physical Requirements

\n

This is an active, floor-present role. Candidates must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and troubleshooting around industrial machinery, with the ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs (with assistance or mechanical aids).
