Rocky Mountain Protective Services (RMPS) is immediately hiring Armed Security Officers in Denver, Colorado.

We are seeking reliable, professional, and responsible Armed Security Officers to join our team for a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week.

The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, controlling access, responding to incidents, and completing accurate security reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment at the assigned location.

• Monitor assigned areas and identify security or safety concerns.

• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections.

• Control access to designated areas as required.

• Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity.

• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.

• Prepare accurate and timely incident and activity reports.

• Follow company policies, post orders, and security procedures.

• Maintain a professional and courteous presence at all times.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, visitors, and clients.

• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Denver Security Guard Card with Armed Endorsement required.

• Previous security experience preferred.

• Strong communication and observation skills.

• Professional appearance and conduct.

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift.

• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.

• Must be able to pass required background and employment screening.
