We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at ExcelCare At the Pines, a 151-bed Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing exceptional service to our residents and staff.
As a Maintenance Assistant at ExcelCare At the Pines, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility is in good working condition

Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff

Assist in the maintenance of the facility's equipment and machinery

Contribute to the upkeep of the facility's grounds and exterior areas

Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other facility staff
Qualifications

Experience in maintenance or a related field

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and supplies as needed

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures
