Experience: 3–5+ Years 7 am – 3:30 pm Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Packaging Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing packaging equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with industrial or packaging machinery, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers with assistance.
• Minimize production downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical and safety issues.
• Follow cGMP, safety, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
• Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Read and interpret mechanical diagrams, gauges, and technical documentation.
• Use maintenance tools and machine-shop equipment as required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and equipment reliability.
• Report equipment breakdowns and safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of experience maintaining packaging, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of LOTO and industrial safety practices.
• Ability to read mechanical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Technical school certification or training preferred.
• cGMP/regulatory manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb.
• Ability to frequently lift or move 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery and vibration.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including face masks in designated areas.
