Role Description The Facilities Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Moutarder Marina & Resort in Leitchfield, KY. This position supports the day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of the resort, marina, and surrounding grounds. Typical tasks include performing routine janitorial duties in guest areas and staff spaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring trash and recycling are properly handled. The Facilities Assistant helps monitor facilities for safety and maintenance issues, reporting concerns and assisting with minor repairs under supervision. The role also involves interacting with guests and team members in a professional manner, responding to facility-related requests, and supporting special events or seasonal projects as needed. Consistent adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in Facility Management (FM) and Facilities Operations, including basic maintenance and building/grounds upkeep.

  • Ability to perform Janitorial Services such as cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing indoor and outdoor areas.
  • \n

  • Effective Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors.
  • \n

  • Customer Service skills for interacting with guests, responding to facility-related inquiries, and supporting a positive visitor experience.
  • \n

  • Reliability in attendance, strong attention to detail, and ability to follow safety and housekeeping standards.
  • \n

  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • \n

  • Prior experience in hospitality, resort, marina, or facilities roles is beneficial but not required.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to learn and follow training and procedures is essential.
