Job DescriptionEnglish Rose Suites is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining both the exterior and interior of our six beautiful residential assisted living homes located in Edina and Hopkins Minnesota.Shift: 32-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pmWage Range: $22 - $26 per hour (DOE)Support you will provide will vary day to day but consists of:Completing Minor plumbing repairs such as replacing a faucet, minor carpentry work such as sandingInterior paintingMinor electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures Floor care, including deep cleaning hardwood floors, tile and shampooing carpetPerform various minor home repairs (replace knobs, light fixtures, level a door, etc.)Routine checks on appliances, security and fire systemsRoutine preventive maintenance tasks such as testing fire alarm and security systems, HVAC system Run errands to, from and between homes in company provided vehicleSupport with landscaping needsOther minor routine maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by Maintenance Superintendent.Criteria for success:Strong work ethicWork with minimal supervision and willing to learn new skillsAbility to climb ladders, bend at waist, kneel, crouch and lift or push 75 poundsCurrent MN driver's license and clean driving recordCapability to learn to operate company vehicle and snowplowProfessional and positive attitude as you'll be interacting with our Residents and familiesDependable and excellent time management skills and attendance record, punctual.Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k, Life Insurance, Tuition assistance, Discounted auto-repairs, Annual Massage and more!
