Pointman Group provides executive protection, secure transportation, and event security for high-net-worth individuals, executives, and private organizations in the Washington, DC area. We are building a bench of qualified agents for detail work, event coverage, and standing posts.

What you'll do
\n
- \n
- Provide armed and unarmed protective coverage for principals at residences, offices, events, and in transit
- Conduct advance work: site surveys, route planning, and identification of access points, safe havens, and medical resources
- Serve as protective driver when assigned, operating safely and discreetly in heavy urban traffic
- Maintain situational awareness, recognize and report surveillance or pre-attack indicators, and respond appropriately to incidents
- Staff fixed posts at client sites and events, controlling access and enforcing site protocols
- Write clear, accurate incident and shift reports
- Represent the client and this company professionally at all times — discretion is not optional

What we require
\n
- \n
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen
- Professional appearance and the ability to work in business attire
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication
- Reliability and flexible availability — details do not run on a fixed schedule
- Current DC, MD, or VA security licensure as applicable to the role (SPO commission, DCJS registration, or state security officer license)

What sets you apart
\n
- \n
- Prior military, law enforcement, or federal protective experience
- Formal executive protection training (EP school, protective operations course, or equivalent)
- Current concealed carry permit in DC, MD, or VA
- Virginia DCJS 32E (personal protection specialist) registration
- DC Special Police Officer commission
- Medical certification — TCCC, TECC, EMT, or CPR/AED
- Protective or evasive driving training
- Multilingual

Compensation
\n
Competitive hourly rate based on licensure, experience, and assignment type. Armed and protective driving assignments pay at a premium.
