Job Objective: Ensure the safety and security of everyone who enters the Harbor Light Center while supporting the mission of The Salvation Army.
Schedule: 3pm - 11:30pm MUST HAVE NIGHTS FLEXIBILITY
Pay Rate: $13hr
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the facility.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including the mini-park and parking lot.
- Respond to and manage any security incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
