Aegis Worldwide is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment and facility systems, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machinery issues, and supporting equipment setup and changeovers to ensure efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) procedures as scheduled to minimize downtime.
- Install, set up, and adjust machinery as needed for production requirements.
- Complete equipment rebuilds, modifications, and upgrades as assigned.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and general mechanical work as necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including PM logs, downtime reports, and control plans.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to coordinate maintenance priorities, resources, and materials.
- Support facility maintenance, including repairs, upgrades, and special projects.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, and plant standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
