Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour
Job Description:
- Protecting a person, organization or asset from any threats, hazards or breaches of security
- Patrolling designated property and monitoring video surveillance equipment
- Identifying and investigating suspicious behavior, threats and irregular activity
- Responding to alarms and requests for help
- Providing a visible presence that enforces safety and security
- Writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift
- Only providing property access to authorized individuals
Qualifications:
- Previous Security work experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently, unsupervised
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
Working Conditions:
- Extensive Walking / Standing
- Exposure to Dampness and Humidity
- Exposure to Slippery and Uneven Surfaces
Safety:
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
- Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety equipment as prescribed by law.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques and perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
- Correct unsafe conditions or report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
