The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance activities within a metal-based manufacturing plant. This role will be in line to take over the Maintenance Manager role in a couple years.
This role involves supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and optimizing the maintenance processes to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Train and mentor maintenance team, fostering skill development and teamwork environment.
- Collaborate with production and EHS teams to identify areas for continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
- Propose replacement projects based on asset health and conditions for the respective area of responsibility.
- Plan and execute the implementation of new equipment.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, including labor and materials costs.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facility.
- Respond to emergencies and equipment failures as needed.
Desired Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in maintenance, engineering, or related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees and outside professionals.
- Three plus years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and determine priorities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, with welding and fabricating ability.
- Proven experience in trouble shooting Automation System & PLC programs 2+ years.
- Outstanding PC & Maintenance Management Software knowledge and skills.
- Experience in resolving complex maintenance situations.
