Position Overview
Multi Team Staffing is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and capable of completing apartment repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turns with minimal supervision.
This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on attendance, performance, and the client’s staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and resident maintenance requests
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and minor leaks
- Complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and smoke detectors
- Repair drywall, patch holes, match texture, and complete touch-up painting
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances
- Replace locks, blinds, screens, fixtures, and other apartment components
- Perform preventive maintenance throughout the property
- Maintain common areas and property grounds when needed
- Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and maintenance supervisors
- Follow all company and property safety procedures
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of apartment or property maintenance experience preferred
- Experience completing apartment turns and service requests
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
- HVAC experience or EPA certification is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have basic hand tools
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Background check may be required
