Role Description\n
This opportunity is designed for people who are considering a career in residential real estate, newly licensed agents who want to begin with the right training, and current agents who are ready to elevate their business.

A real estate license is not required to apply. For the right candidate, assistance and guidance through the licensing process may be available. Candidates must obtain the appropriate Georgia real estate license before performing activities that require licensure.
\n
Once licensed, the Residential Real Estate Agent will build and manage a client-focused real estate business by prospecting and nurturing leads, conducting buyer consultations, preparing listing presentations, showing properties, hosting open houses, and guiding clients through the purchase or sale of a home.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Developing and maintaining relationships within your personal and professional network
- Following up with prospective buyers and sellers
- Learning and using proven lead-generation systems
- Preparing comparative market analyses
- Drafting and reviewing real estate contracts
- Coordinating inspections, appraisals, financing, and closing activities
- Communicating with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and other professionals
- Maintaining accurate records in real estate CRM and transaction-management systems
- Staying informed about local market conditions, contracts, and industry regulations
- Participating in weekly training, coaching, team meetings, and community events

Ongoing weekly training and coaching are available, with an emphasis on practical skills agents can immediately put into action. Training may include prospecting, database development, buyer consultations, listing presentations, contracts, open houses, follow-up systems, negotiation, marketing, and business planning.

Qualifications\n

- A Georgia real estate license is welcomed but not required at the time of application
- Willingness to complete the licensing process before performing licensed real estate activities
- Strong communication, active-listening, and customer-service skills
- Interest in consultative selling, negotiation, and client-focused problem-solving
- Self-motivation, dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate consistently with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work in and around Watkinsville and the Greater Athens area
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends, based on client needs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with real estate, sales, customer service, marketing, or business development is beneficial but not required
