Job Description
Priceless Protection Resources LLC is seeking professional, dependable, and service-minded Level III Armed Security Officers for specialized church security assignments.
Church security requires a unique balance of vigilance, professionalism, hospitality, sound judgment, and de-escalation. Officers must be able to maintain a strong security presence while interacting respectfully with church members, visitors, staff, volunteers, and ministry leadership.
This is not a traditional stand-post position. Candidates must be prepared to actively patrol, monitor activity, support access control, respond to incidents and emergencies, and help maintain a safe and welcoming worship environment.
Requirements
- Current Texas Level III pocket card
- Current firearm qualification and required credentials
- Up-to-date Level III training and certifications
- CPR/AED certification by assignment start date
- 24/7 availability, including Sundays, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong judgment, situational awareness, and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to patrol for extended periods and complete clear, accurate reports
Physical Requirements
The position requires the ability to perform the essential physical functions of the assignment, which may include:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Stooping, bending, reaching, and reaching overhead
- Navigating stairs and multiple levels of a facility
- Performing interior and exterior patrols across varying surfaces and conditions
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional armed-security presence during worship services, church operations, and special events
- Monitor entrances, exits, buildings, parking areas, and designated spaces
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- Support access control and crowd management
- Identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, and potential security issues
- Use professional communication and de-escalation when addressing disruptive, distressed, or confrontational individuals
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents
- Work cooperatively with church leadership, staff, security personnel, and law enforcement
- Interact respectfully with members, visitors, volunteers, staff, and ministry leadership
- Complete required Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Preferred Experience
Experience in church, campus, healthcare, hospitality, event security, military, or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
