We are seeking a dependable and professional Overnight Security Guard to provide security and guest support for four downtown hotel properties located within a four-block radius.
Responsibilities
- Patrol four downtown hotel properties throughout the overnight shift.
- Walk outdoors between properties and remain visible and alert.
- Escort guests and employees to their vehicles when requested.
- Monitor properties for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and disturbances.
- Respond appropriately to guest, employee, and property security concerns.
- Document incidents and communicate concerns to hotel management.
- Assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
- Receive cross-training in front desk operations to assist overnight guests as needed.
Qualifications
- Dependable and comfortable working independently overnight.
- Able to walk and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable walking outdoors in downtown conditions and varying weather.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Able to remain calm and use good judgment when handling security concerns.
- Previous security, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred.
This position is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable combining security responsibilities with overnight hotel guest service.
