Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and preventative maintenance at our apartment community to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot and repair Appliances, HVAC and Boiler units, Plumbing, and Electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct repairs on various equipment including motors, pumps, compressors, and electrical systems with precision and efficiency
- Complete work orders, turns, make readies etc. in an appropriate time frame
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts inventory using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure compliance and facilitate future servicing
- Respond promptly to equipment failures or system malfunctions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and emergency on calls to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician role within property maintenance; multifamily residential apartment community highly preferred
- Strong maintenance knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, plumbing and electrical, and HVAC systems (including Boilers)
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to mechanical work and equipment handling
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations within all aspects of property maintenance
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills in both English, both written and verbal
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task is required
- Availability to work Weekends and Emergency On-call Rotation
- HVAC/EPA certification required
- Boiler license and experience required
