Janitor / Custodian (Part-Time)

• Location: Blairsville, PA
• Payrate: $16.00 - 18.00 per hour, depending upon skills and qualifications
• Schedule: Day Shift |* Monday through Friday |* 8:00am to 4:00pm | Up to 20 hours per week

What will you be doing?

• Clean designated facility areas such as offices, kitchen, restrooms, fellowship hall, and sanctuary by performing sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and dusting duties.
• Assigned heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as required

• Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and cleaning screens

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen and fellowship hall.
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Washes and cleans windows.

• Assists in examining facility for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Congregational Pastor or Chairperson, Building and Grounds Committee.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What are the Job Requirements?

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Drug Test
• Criminal Background Check

• PA Child Abuse Clearance

• FBI Fingerprinting and Background Check

• Mandated PA Reporter Training
