Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Overview
United Security is seeking a professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officer for a corporate property in Phoenix. This is a daytime position focused on maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the property
- Verify and log all visitors, vendors, and deliveries
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises (interior & exterior)
- Provide a strong visible presence to deter unwanted activity
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, or safety concerns
- Write detailed Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service and assist employees/guests as needed
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Unarmed Security Guard Card (required)
- Highly dependable and punctual
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to effectively de-escalate situations
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security experience in a corporate or professional setting
- Experience with access control systems and reporting tools
- Strong de-escalation skills
