Compensation: $25-$28/Hour
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a top client. This individual will be responsible for keeping facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure operating safely and efficiently. The technician will perform hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while also supporting construction and facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, an active HVAC license, and several years of facilities maintenance experience in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.
Day-to-Day:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment repairs
- Design and fabricate solutions and develop material lists for maintenance projects
- Support construction and facility improvement projects
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers
- Work with electrical, gas-powered, hydraulic, pneumatic, and forklift equipment
- Complete scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely
- Maintain assigned tools and communicate equipment needs
- Assist with training and supporting maintenance team members
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and efficiency
- Assist other departments with maintenance needs as required
Must-Haves:
- 3–5 years of building or facilities maintenance experience
- HVAC license
- Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain facility systems and equipment
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
- Basic computer/software skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a maintenance team
- Commitment to established safety procedures and proper PPE use
