Job Description
A growing commercial real estate development firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Project Manager to join its Charleston team. This role offers hands-on involvement across the full development lifecycle, including site selection, acquisitions, due diligence, entitlements, construction, and project completion.

Responsibilities

- Manage multiple single-tenant retail development projects.
- Evaluate sites using demographic, traffic, zoning, and market data.
- Prepare feasibility studies, site concepts, and project recommendations.
- Negotiate LOIs and coordinate contracts with property owners and brokers.
- Coordinate environmental, survey, geotechnical, and other due diligence.
- Work with architects, engineers, contractors, municipalities, and retail clients.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, construction, and milestones.
- Identify new development opportunities throughout the Southeast.

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2–5 years of commercial real estate development, brokerage, site selection, or related project management experience.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, and development processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read site plans and construction documents.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 20%).

Preferred: Retail development experience, real estate license, AutoCAD/Photoshop experience, MBA or JD.
