Role Description The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Whitman, MA. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on a variety of construction and industrial equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting work performed in accordance with company procedures. The Maintenance Technician will also carry out preventive maintenance schedules, support equipment readiness for rental or internal use, and collaborate with service and operations teams to minimize downtime. This position may involve using diagnostic tools, reading technical manuals, and adhering to safety and compliance standards while working in a fast-paced shop or yard environment.\n

- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for construction and industrial machinery.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, service intervals, and recordkeeping for equipment fleets.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with familiarity using diagnostic tools and service manuals.
- Commitment to safety practices, including adherence to OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with service, operations, and customer-facing teams.
- Ability to lift and move equipment components as required and work in a shop or outdoor environment.
- Previous experience as a maintenance or service technician in construction, heavy equipment, or a related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics or industrial maintenance is a plus.
