Peterson Properties, Inc. is seeking a full-time, experienced apartment maintenance technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained community for our residents.
The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on experience in apartment or residential maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently.
A technician in this position would be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units including but not limited to:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address proactively
- Resolve/complete work orders in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service
- Troubleshooting and performing routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
- General building maintenance including appliance repair, carpentry, painting and landscaping
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machines, and equipment
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with unit make readies
- Assist with maintaining grounds, including pools and snow removal
- Other related tasks as needed at surrounding properties also owned/managed by Peterson Properties Inc.

Requirements:
- Must have multiple years of verifiable experience in a similar maintenance position for multi-family housing. Compensation based on experience.
- CPO and EPA Certifications are preferred.
- Must have your own basic tools including a smartphone or IPAD
- Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis.
- Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work
- Successfully complete background and drug screening
- Ability to work an “On Call” rotation – Additional BONUS Pay applies
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
