About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and boiler operations. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who can lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure the smooth operation of our facility's equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the facility
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of industrial boilers and related equipment
- Manage maintenance budgets and control expenses
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Develop and maintain maintenance documentation and records
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks
- Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures
QualificationsRequired:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance department
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Experience with boiler operations and maintenance
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Certifications in industrial maintenance, such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Familiarity with energy management and conservation practices
