Job DescriptionFull-time Maintenance Supervisor

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and boiler operations. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who can lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure the smooth operation of our facility's equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the facility
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of industrial boilers and related equipment
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control expenses
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
  • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation and records
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks
  • Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures

QualificationsRequired:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance department
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Experience with boiler operations and maintenance
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • Certifications in industrial maintenance, such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Familiarity with energy management and conservation practices
