Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Kenosha, WI. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, packaging machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient food manufacturing operations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, executing repairs, and completing preventive maintenance work orders according to established schedules. The Maintenance Technician will inspect equipment for wear, coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime, and document all maintenance activities in compliance with safety and quality standards. The role may also assist with equipment installation, continuous improvement projects, and adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for production and facility systems.
  • \n

  • Experience in Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues on industrial equipment.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance practices, including inspections, adjustments, and part replacements.
  • \n

  • Background in Industrial Maintenance within a manufacturing, food processing, or similar environment.
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe use of hand and power tools.
  • \n

  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and to maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • \n

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or industrial technology preferred.
  • \n

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed to support production schedules.
