Is This You?

Experienced people leader (5+ years) who coaches for performance and safety.
Hands-on chemical operations professional (3+ years) in tank farms, chemical manufacturing, or hazmat handling.
Comfortable with PSM/RMP, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
Skilled with railcar/tanker offloading systems and sit-down forklifts.
Ready to lift up to 90 lbs with a team lift and work precisely in a fast-paced, high-hazard setting.
HS Diploma or GED; computer-literate for logs and documentation.
Direct chlorine experience strongly preferred (or other highly hazardous chemicals).

What You’ll Lead

Safe offloading of chlorine from railcars, tankers, and related delivery systems.
Full OSHA/EPA/DHS compliance, including PSM and RMP; strict PPE enforcement.
Daily tank farm operations: storage, transfers, and inventory reconciliation.
First-response leadership for chlorine events: leaks, alarms, and evacuations.
Preventive maintenance coordination for tanks, piping, valves, scrubbers, and monitors.
Accurate completion of logs, manifests, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Training, coaching, and qualification of operators; reinforcement of safety culture.
Hands-on support with batching, transfers, and daily tasks while leading the team.
Continuous improvement initiatives to elevate safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Cross-functional alignment with Production, Maintenance, EHS, and Logistics.
Oversight of contractors in the tank farm to ensure site safety compliance.

Schedule, Training, and Pay

Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; overtime as needed.
Onboarding: Train on first shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) for about 2–3 months before moving to regular hours.
Hourly rate: $29.72, plus $0.10/hour differential for all hours worked on second shift.
Union: Teamsters Local 986.
Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, time in role, business line, and location.
