Position Overview:
Scout Security Group is seeking professional, dependable, self-motivated, and service-oriented Level II (Unarmed) Security Officers to protect our clients, their employees and tenants, visitors, property, and assets. At Scout, security is more than standing a post or documenting an incident after it occurs. Our officers are expected to remain engaged with their environment, recognize potential problems early, communicate effectively, and take appropriate action within their training and authority.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence at assigned client properties.
- Conduct foot, vehicle, and/or stationary patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, exits, and other designated locations.
- Proactively identify security concerns rather than waiting for incidents to be reported.
- Monitor the property for suspicious activity, criminal behavior, safety hazards, unauthorized access, disturbances, and violations of client policies.
- Identify potential problems early and take appropriate action before situations unnecessarily escalate.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, access-control systems, alarms, and other security technologies when assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Meet applicable State of Texas requirements for employment and registration as a Level II/noncommissioned security officer.
- Complete required Level II training and maintain required registration and credentials.
- Meet Scout Security Group's background and employment requirements.
- Possess reliable transportation and the ability to report to assigned locations on time.
- Possess strong verbal communication skills.
- Be capable of writing clear, accurate, and professional reports.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and able to take initiative without constant supervision.

Tips for Success:

- Arrive anytime between 10 AM and the fair ends at 12:30 PM—Plan to spend 45 minutes to 1 hour at the event.
