We are a growing Multi-Family Property Management and Investment firm seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at one of our Denver, Colorado communities. This leadership role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong technical skills, supervisory experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional resident service.


The successful candidate will have experience in apartment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general property upkeep. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate apartment turns, respond to service requests, and help maintain a safe, attractive, and well-functioning community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Oversee apartment make-readies and vacant unit turns to prepare homes for new residents.
  • Diagnose and repair maintenance issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment, drywall, and carpentry.
  • Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance programs.
  • Conduct daily inspections of buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
  • Maintain swimming pool and hot tub operations in compliance with safety standards.
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, team members, and stakeholders through exceptional customer service.
  • Promote a productive, positive, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications


Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing a team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Technical Experience

  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Appliance repair
  • Drywall installation and repair
  • General carpentry
  • Pool and spa maintenance operations


Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3 to 5 years of property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or multifamily maintenance experience required.
  • Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
