Maintenance Technician - SECOND SHIFT
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform mechanical repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize production downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
