Unarmed Security Officer
Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
Location: Jenkintown, PA
Schedule:
12:30 AM to 7:30 AM
Rotating weekends with every other weekend off
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent.
- Reports on time to relieve officer on prior shift
- Performs tours of the building on a scheduled basis
- Ensures that all exterior and interior doors are locked as required
- Checks internal mailbox and distributes mail to tenants as required
- Report on any maintenance issues for building services personnel
- Observes and reports unusual or suspicious activity
- Completes all required reports on time nightly and records them at the end of shift.
- Must be in company issued uniform at all times
- Interact with building staff in a courteous manner
- Coordinates with other team members to provide a safe and secure environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of post-high school work experience
- Must have at least two years of working experience as a Security Officer
- Reliable means of communication (active smartphone with the ability to download apps)
- Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written)
- Reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to work the posted schedule
- Must be punctual and ready to work at the start of every shift
- Complete a criminal background check
- Must be professional and courteous with supervisors, and fellow team members
