Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager
Department: FTS (Facilities, Technology, Security)
Reports to: Managing Director of Support Services
FLSA Status: Exempt, $100k +/- Salary, Benefits, Paid Training/Vacation
Introduction: DLC is hiring a Regional Facilities Manager for each of the following regions: Fox Valley/Appleton WI, Salt Lake City UT, Las Vegas NV, and Northern NV! Position Summary: This is a leadership position for a highly experienced candidate capable of keeping an entire region of locations running smoothly. In addition to supervising your region, you will have to also actually work and be a jack (or Jill) of all trades. You will manage a small team of associates, manage your regional warehouse & command center, travel between stores, be a go to employee reporting to top company officials. Activities include but are not limited to: Store work tickets, warehouse management, electrical, low voltage, plumbing, HVAC, signage, and office furniture. Strong knowledge of your region as routing and navigating traffic is critical. This position is responsible for staff leadership and direction including goal setting, KPI's, feedback, and annual performance appraisals. Project management experience and excellent communication skills required for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise Facilities Associates by providing employee communication, training, KPI's, appropriate feedback, and performance analysis.
- Manage the day to day operations within Facilities, prioritizing emergency issues, day to day assignments, and large projects to ensure deadlines are met.
- Pro-actively review all facility issues to avoid future potential store issues.
- Supervise and document the set up/installation of new locations or relocations.
- Perform unscheduled inspections of each store using a checklist to document any changes/issues. Fix issues, educate location staff and coach for future success.
- Ensure that all locations are maintained at the highest standard. Inspect that everything in the stores look presentable fixing any damage as needed yourself, delating to your team, or contracting a vendor to assist, whichever is quickest.
- Ensure that all locations do not have any physical security weaknesses to better protect customer data as well as DLC assets.
- Provide support in the supervision of all new construction of stores from start to finish with a documented plan using outside vendors and FTS staff while ensuring compliance with building standards, local zoning issues, etc..
- Support the security manager's vision to implement security measures at all levels of access to the store focusing on the safety of DLC staff and customers.
- Prevent threats to customer and employee health and safety in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Have full understanding of building codes for all current municipalities that DLC is in plus the ability to easily research proposed new locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Education and/or Experience:
- Several years of demonstrated successful experience in all aspects of Facility maintenance/management/leadership.
- Intimate knowledge of regional roads, areas, navigating traffic, city regions, etc.
- Ability to travel as needed to complete various facility projects.
- New store setup/construction experience preferred in various markets.
- Ability to travel to new markets to help with setting up stores.
- Experience working with external contractors and the ability to skillfully negotiate and manage external resources is preferred.
- Understanding of intermediate IT issues, such as software installations, network connectivity, or basic hardware configurations.
- Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Understandings of project management and software that can help effectively do the job at hand including but not limited to MS Project and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently, multi task, and deliver projects on time and budget.
- Knowledge of external vendor contract laws/regulations preferred.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and detail oriented skills.

May at times require travel to multiple locations.
