BG Staffing is currently seeking a Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities throughout the Taunton, Massachusetts area. Position Overview
As a Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of residential apartment communities. This position requires traveling between assigned properties, completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with apartment turns to ensure residents enjoy a high-quality living experience.
Because this role supports multiple communities, a reliable vehicle is required for daily travel between locations.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule required
Compensation
- $23.00 per hour
- Weekly pay available

Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance troubleshooting
- Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
- Maintain community grounds and common areas as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies during assigned on-call rotations
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and property management teams
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repair techniques
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, bend, climb stairs, and perform physical maintenance tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Ability to travel between multiple property locations
