Facilities Director
Salary: $90,000 to $95,000 + Excellent Benefits
Join a premier upscale hospitality group seeking an experienced Facilities Director to oversee the maintenance, appearance, and operational excellence of multiple high-end restaurant properties. Responsibilities
- Oversee all preventative maintenance programs across multiple restaurant properties.
- Perform and coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Maintain dining rooms, kitchens, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and exterior grounds to exceptional standards.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors and contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of projects.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain compliance with safety, health, and building regulations.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor energy usage and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with operations leadership to quickly resolve maintenance issues and support daily business needs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of facilities or property maintenance leadership experience.
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, hotels, country clubs, retail, or commercial facilities preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Hands-on repair and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience managing vendors and maintenance contractors.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
