Job Description
Currently seeking Maintenance Technician II – Production Equipment & Systems for a temporary to permanent or Permanent position in Attleboro, MA. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently on equipment issues, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician II – Production Equipment & Systems
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems based on schedules and operational priorities
- Respond quickly and independently to equipment breakdowns and production needs
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues
-Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
-Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals and other documentation
-Fabricate or modify basic parts or components needed to make repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation
-Support equipment set-up, installation, relocation and improvement
-Work with outside contractors, vendors or technicians while completing work onsite
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-Provide support on continuous improvement initiatives
-Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Maintenance Technician II – Production Equipment & Systems
-Minimum High School Diploma, or GED required; Technical/Vocational School or Associates degree in related field preferred
-5+ years' experience in industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
-Previous experience with pneumatics and basic hydraulics
-Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Basic computer skills
-ability to prioritize tasks and respond to requests in a fast-paced environment
-Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb throughout the shift
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: up to $35.00/hr
