Job Description: A residential community consisting of 470 units in Denver/Aurora is looking for a dedicated and detail oriented maintenance technician to help maintain a clean and attractive property of several acres. An ideal candidate will be a jack or Jill of many trades with a passion for DIY projects along with an affinity for fixer uppers. Daily duties will include walking the property and correcting any observable things that are out of order including but not limited to picking up trash, sweeping walkways, painting, sign refreshing, and reporting anything out of order to the maintenance team for more robust corrective actions. Seasonal duties may include soil preparation and planting, snow removal/mitigation, and sprinkler maintenance. Must be willing to take on this job as an Independent self-thought worker to start, though the right candidate who is reliable and demonstrates a commitment to a job well done will experience a fair amount of autonomy with opportunity for advancement, and other perks

Experience: Carpentry and gardening experience are preferred. Electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing experiences are a plus. Training & monitoring will be provided as needed.

Key Points:

• Some maintenance experience (light carpentry, household plumbing, etc.)
• Must share on-call duties – to be shared on a rotating basis with another employee
• Must have a car or live within walking distance of complex
• Must be willing to take $16.5/hr. during a probationary period of 30-90 days.
