Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Demonstrate extensive knowledge of metal stamping press operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on metal stamping presses to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain company vehicles, forklifts, and facility systems as needed.
- Complete high?quality fabrication and repair work to support manufacturing and maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including single?phase and three?phase equipment.
- Oversee daily maintenance operations by scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating work orders to minimize equipment downtime.
- Lead equipment upgrade, installation, and modification projects using effective project management practices.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify safety risks or potential failures and implement corrective actions.
- Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance technicians, providing guidance, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations related to electrical systems, machinery, and facility maintenance.
- Actively participate as a member of the company Safety Committee to support continuous safety improvement.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a metal stamping facility, and experience working with high tonnage presses.
- 10+ years of proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
- 10+ years of proven experience in a forklift, aerial lift, and scissor lift
- 6+ years of supervising or management experience in a maintenance environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and comprehend mechanical drawings
- Rigging experience is a plus
