We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Technician - II (Fire Alarm & NICET) to join our team. This role involves providing on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and special hazard fire suppression systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing fire alarm equipment, with specific experience working with leading manufacturers such as Kidde, Fike, Notifier, FCI, and others. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Service and maintain special hazard fire suppression systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Diagnose system issues accurately and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Document all service activities thoroughly and maintain detailed records of system conditions and repairs performed.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding system status, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, manufacturer updates, and certification requirements.
Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience servicing fire alarm systems and special hazard fire suppression systems is required.
- Experience working with manufacturers such as Kidde, Notifier, and FCI is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm system components, wiring diagrams, and testing procedures.
- NICET certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
