Location: Multiple properties throughout Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Hesperia, Dana Point, and Huntington Beach, CA
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Occasional On-Call: Yes

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position will provide maintenance and repair services across multiple apartment, townhomes, warehouse, and commercial properties throughout Southern California.

The ideal candidate is experienced in general property maintenance, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well, and can work independently while traveling between properties as needed.

This is a hands-on position that requires regular lifting, climbing, outdoor work, and the ability to respond to a variety of maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs at apartment, townhomes, warehouses, and other managed properties.
• Complete maintenance work orders and respond to tenant/property maintenance requests.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, garbage disposals, and minor leaks.
• Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting, including outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting, including filter replacement and routine maintenance.
• Complete drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-up work.
• Perform basic carpentry and repairs involving doors, cabinets, trim, hardware, and other building components.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and address maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
• Handle interior and exterior property repairs and general upkeep.
• Inspect properties and identify maintenance, safety, or repair issues that require attention.
• Coordinate with management and outside vendors when repairs require specialized or licensed contractors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Travel between multiple properties throughout Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Hesperia, Dana Point, and Huntington Beach.
• Occasionally respond to after-hours or emergency maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Previous apartment, property management, or facilities maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical systems and repairs.
• HVAC maintenance/troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with drywall repair and painting.
• Basic carpentry and general handyman skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel between multiple properties during the workday.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform physical maintenance work safely.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity, including:

• Lifting and carrying tools, materials, and equipment.
• Climbing ladders and stairs.
• Bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Working indoors and outdoors.
• Performing repairs in occupied and unoccupied units and various property environments.
• Safely handling tools and maintenance equipment.

Transportation

The Maintenance Technician will travel between company properties using their own reliable vehicle. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour

This is a full-time position with a regular Monday–Friday schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance support may be required.
