Job DescriptionPatient Safety Officer - RN
Our partners are seeking an experienced Nurse with clinical quality and patient safety expertise in acute care. Lead patient safety programs, drive quality improvements, and perform root cause analysis for adverse events.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.

Participate in safety committees (falls prevention, medication safety).

Conduct chart reviews, root cause analyses, and risk assessments.

Monitor, report, and escalate safety incidents.

Use data analytics to improve clinical performance.

Educate and mentor clinical teams.

Implement Lean/Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications:
-
Active California RN license (or OT, LCSW, PT, RCP, SLP, Pharmacist, MD).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

6+ years in quality improvement; 4+ years clinical/administrative experience.

3+ years leadership experience.

Proficient with CQI tools and data analysis.
Preferred:

Experience in adult critical care and patient safety leadership.

Strong regulatory compliance and risk management skills.
