The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services. In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm.
· Delivering high end customer service
· Responding to emergencies
· Deterring and preventing crime
· Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
· Investigating incidents
· Completing daily logs and incident reports
· Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
· Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
· De-escalating conflicts
· Monitoring CCTV cameras
· Performing other related duties as assigned
· High school Diploma or GED equivalent
· Two years of face to face customer service experience
· Possess at least one of the following experience / education criteria:
o 1.) Four years of armed security experience 2.) Three years of military experience 3.) Successful completion of a state or federal certified law enforcement training academy
· Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Proficient time management skills
· Reliable transportation
· Excellent de-escalation skills
· Proficient firearms skills
· Extensive use of force knowledge
· Proactive problem solving skills
· Must be able to obtain state required armed security officer license
· Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications
· Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements

The following are the stipulations and job description as the Central Pennsylvania Armed Flex Officer. As the Armed Flex Officer, you will be fully trained and outfitted to assume the duties and responsibilities at our Central Pennsylvania Armed Sites. New sites could be added as more contracts come available.Harrisburg PAAnnville, PAThe Central Pennsylvania Site Supervisors will assume control over your schedule. The Site Supervisors will contact you at least a week in advance to pre schedule you for open shifts. It will be mandatory for you to keep in direct contact with these Site Supervisors your availability to cover open shifts. You will be required to work a minimum of three shifts per work week, which includes weekends, first, second and third shift. More hours can be obtained, however it is not management's vision to have you work more than 40 hours per week. If for some reason management can not fulfil our obligation of getting you at least three shifts per work week, the Central Pennsylvania Portfolio Manager and Operations Manager will have the availability to assign you to certain administrative duties that will allow you to get scheduled hours to keep you gainfully employed. In this position you are playing a key role in accomplishing our ever changing mission and goals in Central Pennsylvania.
