Aerotek is hiring a multi craft maintenance technician for an automotive facility located in Chattanooga, TN. Positions are direct hire opportunities paying $28-$40/hr depending on experience. Multiple shifts available.
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is tasked with participating in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. Success in this role requires experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. (Working on injection molding equipment is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities.
- Utilize electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, including Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Conduct electrical maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics.
- Maintain and repair robotics, including Fanuc and ABB.
Essential Skills
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs, including Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and handle industrial maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with robots, such as Fanuc and ABB.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on weekends.
- Willingness to take initiative and complete necessary tasks.
- Experience with mold and molding equipment.
