BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for a well-established property in Richmond, VA (23223). This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with consistent weekday hours and competitive pay.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general carpentry issues
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and property regulations
- Provide professional customer service to residents and property staff
Qualifications
- Maintenance certification required (HVAC, EPA, CPO, or equivalent preferred)
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Strong knowledge of building systems and general maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation, tools, and strong troubleshooting skills
