We are seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in San Diego, CA.
This position is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who has previous apartment maintenance supervisory experience and is comfortable leading a maintenance team while ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead maintenance technicians, porters, and vendors
- Complete and oversee apartment work orders
- Coordinate unit turns and make-readies
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Delegate daily assignments and monitor completion
- Maintain inventory and order maintenance supplies
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations when needed
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and property management
- Ensure the property and maintenance shop remain clean, organized, and safe
Requirements
- Previous Apartment Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager experience required
- Strong knowledge of apartment maintenance and repairs
- Experience supervising and directing a maintenance team
- Ability to prioritize work orders, turns, and property needs
- HVAC experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must be dependable, organized, and hands-on
