Title: Maintenance Tech
Pay Rate: 25-26/HR on W2
Hours: M-F 8am - 4:30pm
Location: 1200 N 40th Street, Phoenix AZ

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Complete daily work orders
Changing filters
Painting/patching
Light plumbing
General maintenance
Light electrical

Licenses/Certifications:
Fork lift and safety certifications would be a plus

Must Have Skills:
General maintenance skills
Basic electric
Basic plumbing
Light carpentry

Nice to have skills:
Commercial door maintenance skills
Specific past experience in either Electric or plumbing

Soft Skills:
Good customer service skills

Years of Experience:
5 years + with commercial or residential multi-family experience

Education
H.S. diploma or GED, trade school preferred

Software skills:
Tablet experience
Basic computer experience
- outlook

Interview Process:
Parking notes: 1st round phone screen, 2nd round virtual (Teams)

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to mediumsized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
•Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
•Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
•Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
•Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
•Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
•Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
•Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
•Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
•Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
•High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
•Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
•Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
•Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
•Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
